- Summary
- Some 2017 Model Year Focus vehicles equipped with 1.0L gasoline turbocharged direct injection(GTDI) engines may exhibit illuminated malfunction indicator light(MIL) with DTC P04DB (crankcase ventilation system disconnected) stored in powertrain control module(PCM) memory. Inspect positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) tube assembly for O-Ring damage or partial disconnect. PCV tube connects to air induction system(AIS) and camshaft cover port. PCV tube assembly also includes crankcase pressure sensor(Reference 303-14 electronic engine controls). Engineering is currently investigating.
