- Summary
- SOME 2015-2017 FOCUS VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH REMOTE START (FACTORY OR DEALER INSTALLED) MAY EXHIBIT A CLIMATE CONTROL SYSTEM THAT DOES NOT RESPOND CORRECTLY TO A REMOTE START EVENT. THIS MAY BE DUE TO THE BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) CONFIGURATIONS/SETTINGS. THIS MAY AFFECT HEATED SEATS, HEATED STEERING WHEEL, HEATED BACKGLASS, AND/OR FRONT DEFROSTER. VERIFY THE BCM IS AT THE LATEST LEVEL. THE ISSUE IS CURRENTLY UNDER ENGINEERING INVESTIGATION, DO NOT ATTEMPT ANY ADDITIONAL REPAIRS AT THIS TIME. MONITOR OASIS FOR FUTURE UPDATES.
