CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2015 Ford Focus & its "Powershift" transmission has a defect trend where the car shudders when accelerating, especially when starting uphill.
Most owners have reported their Ford Focus remains driveable while the vehicle is still at low mileage, but the shuddering is annoying & unpleasant & may reduce the resale value of the vehicle.
However, owners of higher-mileage vehicles from earlier 3rd generation Focus model years report transmission failure & a host of other major & expensive transmission-related problems. Potential buyers beware.

My car has been completely flooded on the passenger floor both front and rear floors. The front floor had 2 inches of standing water. I can not put my granddaughter in the back seat due to the standing water there. The area around the lights I the roof are completely saturated. And no we have not had any flooding or super torrential rains here in Philadelphia. My local Ford Dealers can not see me for 2 weeks! 2 weeks of riding around with standing water and now the smell..... UUGGHH
I have tried 2 different dealers and they can only see my on a Thursday due to a "specialist" only being available on that day. So Standby I have an appointment with Pacifico Ford (UGH again, as they are not very good) for them to look a this POS car.
Again please let me know if anyone else has experienced this issue with this broken down car - the transmission is a totally nightmare story.
Thanks
