ASKED ABOUT CAR'S TRANSMISSION SHUDDERING SLIGHTLY IN FIRST GEAR WHEN CAR WARMED UP. DEALER SAID THIS WAS A NORMAL RESPONSE BECAUSE OF THE STANDARD TRANSMISSION FEATURE OF THEIR 6 SPEED AUTOMATIC. "MUCH LIKE HAVING A CLUTCH AFFECT". WE NOW HAVE 15,000 MILES AND IT HAS BECOME A BIT MORE ANNOYING. WE HAD IT LOOKED AT. THEY ADMITTED THERE MAY BE A COMPUTER GLITCH. TWO WEEKS AGO THEY RESET THE "BLITCH" AND IT DID NOT WORK. WE HAVE NOW FOUND OUT THAT FORD IS RECOGNIZING THIS PROBLEM AND WILL BE SENDING DEALERSHIPS CORRECTIVE SOFTWARE OR HARDWARE. WE WERE TOLD TO CALL IN TWO WEEKS.
