Went to start my car one day, and the clutch pedal stayed on the floor when I stepped on it. I tried flushing the clutch fluid and it worked. 48 hours later, the clutch pedal got stuck to the floor again. I took it to a mechanic and it turned out the the clutch slave cylinder went out and was allowing clutch/brake fluid to get inside of the transmission before leaking to the floor. Mechanic recommended replacing the clutch since they would have to open the transmission anyway. The problem appears to be due to Ford using a cheap plastic slave cylinder for the clutch.
