issues with (i'm guessing transmission) vehicle lurching forward when applying brakes, as if brakes aren't being applied at all. I was in traffic and trying to stop, and multiple times while my car tried to switch gears it lurched me forward and almost into the car in front of me. I'm now having to double following space between me and vehicles because I can't predict when the lurching will overpower my brakes. Unknown what is actually causing it as dealers are booked a bit far out and I'm waiting for my appointment to bring it in.

POWER STEERING ASSIST, FAILURE: ENGINE FAILURE TO START: POWER BRAKE ASSIST, FAILURE: TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE, FAILURE: CLUTCH FAILURE AND SHIFT ROUGHNESS:. CAR UNUSEABLE FOR THREE YEARS WITHOUT BECAUSE OF PARTS INAVAILABILITY: This type even happened mutiple times because of the transmission control module failure. The first sign of problems was shuddring and rough shifting beginning with about 30,000 miles on the vehicle Multiple trips to the Ford Dealerships resulted in Unsatisfactory action by Ford Motor company to repair the problem The result was safety problems like stalling and losing power steering and brake assist in traffic. It displayed multiple system failure warnings when it failed, Steering asist, Brake assist, ABS, transmission position light was in park while driving. We tried to get repairs done but they just kicked it down the road till we fought with the car to get 160,000 miles out of it because there was no other choice and they denied there was a problem. It was completely unserviceable beginning on the shown date because the clutch control and transmission control module have been faulty, It has started a few times but will not shift properly and the clutch is faulty because of the control module being bad. We paid to have the control module replaced when it became available, but the vehicle is not servicable because the clutch and flywheel are damaged from the module being faulty. This should have been a safety recall as soon as the problem was discovered, but it was hidden and the owners of these vehicles have had to deal with it over the last 10 years. Any of these cars on the road are just as dangerous as this one It.is still at the shop 4 months after they tried to patch it awaiting the determination of whether a clutch recall will fix it or not. These owners of these cars are driving time bombs if they are not able to react to the problems listed in traffic.

I'm being persecuted by Ford Motor. I purchased a 2014 Ford Focus SE Jan. 26th 2018 from Rocco Degregorio at 6701 Essington Ave. told no recalls or safety issues. The car was brought back next day, driving improperly. Many problems found, was told all fixed. The car malfunctioned April 23rd 2018 accelerating forward disabling me for life! UNINTENDED ACCELERATION. Former attorneys, Rosenbaum &Associates mishandled my case, filed suit in 2020. Honorable Judge New gave me a stay. I'm representing myself for justice, in severe pain & more needed surgery.I have documents to prove all I say. How can I face trial alone"! I suffer physically, emotionally, financially going without medical supplies, medication. I pay $209.97 a mo.for a car that almost killed me, sits at auto collision where malfunction codes were obtained since 2018 to date, its evidence. A state investor detective said its the worse case of auto fraud she ever saw. Ford is blaming 3rd party suppliers for the defects on the suit. No inspection was done on my car from incompetent deceitful former attorneys. They blame me! I didn't do this! Read article, Watch the NBC nightly News 15 minutes in Links below. I was lied to, deceived from salesman, former attorneys, & Ford. The NBC nightly news aired 2019 Ford knew car was assembled dangerously, but put it in production! Ford took my life, identity, trust, mobility! This is injustice and inhumanity. Permanent injuries deteriorate my body, stress causes further health issues. Ford is killing what life I have left by torturing me. I wont give up on Justice! Please help! Speak with me, my witnesses, read my evidence auto fraud, product liability, personal injury, attorney malpractice, and Intervene! I want an end to the unhealthy involvement with Ford with Justice. I purchased my Ford Focus 2014 with 40,000 miles for $17,000, mid year of 2017. The car drove perfectly before its first recall in December of 2018. Ever since then the car has broken down at least every 3 months. I have had four recall repairs since the purchase, I believe the recalls are the reason it needs so many additional other repairs. Besides the car itself I have spent over $35,000 on additional repairs. I have paid Ford, murray's auto / acima, all 4 U auto, Firestone and best tires for repairs. I have researched the recalls and other people's experiences with the car, many of the customer experiencing way more troublesome activity with the cars with the recall than what is stated in the mail letter. I would like to request a settlement reimbursement of a new car due my unsatisfied experience with my car. I will attach all my paid and ongoing debt receipts for my car's maintenance. After one of my recalls in 2018 the car was returned to me in even worst condition, with engine failure at the wake forest nc location. I received a diagnosis at the cary crossroads, nc location that said the car would need a $10,000 new engine. I thought this was unfair because I had not had engine problems before the recall, and researching online many dissatisfied customer agreed that the specific recall was causing engine failure, and my advisor agreed that the recall fault part and engine could have negatively affected one another although refused to pay for the repair. I called Ford corporate and explain to them what happened they deducted over $6,000 from the entire engine price. I was not satisfied with the cost I had to pay but paid the cost because I still had close to $10,000 to pay my bank secu from the lease car loan. The alignment, rods, and brakes were also a major expense I had to pay.

My 2014 Ford Focus hatchback has had concerning safety issues due to the dual-clutch automatic transmission since I bough the car brand new in January 2015. When I try to accelerate driving down the street and on the highway my car lurches multiple times and I'm unable to accelerate. This has almost caused many car accidents and terrifies me every time I drive.the lurching has also loosened parts of my car and feels like parts of my car could fall off at anytime. My engine also has issues and I've had to stop on the side of the road at least twice now due to the engine overheating. I have never felt safe driving this car. I've taken it into the dealership many times since the first week I bought the car complaining about the transmission and the employees kept telling me that they couldn't do anything about it. I never would have purchased this car if I had known about these issues and I will never purchase a Ford car again.

I was driving down the street, and my car lost power in the middle of traffic. I couldn't do anything except let the car coast to the nearest side street. This is the first time it has gotten to this particular degree. Before this happened, I was on my way home and as I was leaving the stop light, the car hesitated and took a while before the speed would pick up. It also did some weird things that I can't explain, but know that it shouldn't have happened. After this first incident, I immediately contacted Ford and complained about the problem. I was advised that the car had two extended warranties and I should take it into a authorized dealer and have the vehicle diagnosed and that if it was a transmission module issue or something to that effect, it would be covered under the warranty and the repairs would be done at no cost. I took the vehicle to a Ford dealership in Tennessee and was told that my vehicle had an branded title and the dealership refused to put the car on the machine unless Ford corporate called them directly with an authorization code. I called Ford corporate back and explained to them what the issue was and the agent put me on hold and called the dealership and gave him all the information he needed to start the work on my vehicle. About three hours later, I was contacted by the dealership and was told to pick up my vehicle because someone from Ford had contacted him and said that my warranty was no good. I emailed the CEO at Ford corporation, and after two weeks, still haven't heard back from him. I called the corporate office again and was told the same thing as before, which is that my car has two extended warranties and the work should have been done because one warranty covers the transmission whether it has a branded title or not. Now, I have a car sitting up, unnecessary expenses and a dent in my back bumper.

Back at the end of June, first part of July I had a check engine light on and then the next day it was off but some stupid "my key came on and not it regulates my speed and volume. I am not paying over $200 to have it removed. But the most important thing is the clutch on my transmission is out and Ford won't replace it for free and I dont have the money to fix it. I believe Ford should fix it for free since they can't build good transmissions.

When I first purchased the car I had issues from the start. I would press on the gas and the car would hesitate to go forward and then jerk. It felt like I was driving a manual car but I had an automatic. I found out that there was a recall on the car for this specific reason. I took the car to my local Ford dealer in clarksville in and had to wait over 3 weeks for the part to come in. I was not offered a loaner car or anything. Once I got the part it was ok for like literally maybe 1 or 2 months and the issues arose again. I took the car back and was told it was the last time I would be able to get the issue fixed for free. This all happened in 2016. It is now 2019 and I am still having the same issues. Also the passenger side seatbelt works intermittently. And the car doors do not always latch tightly when you shut the door. I have been told several times that there is nothing that can be done. Now I am stuck still making payments on a car that I do not feel safe driving. I did have a wreck in the car back in 2016 where I was pushing on the gas and it jerked really hard and then went forward violently and I hit a pole. The damage is still on my car which includes a busted front bumper and the car horn is not working.

Placed car in park exited car at which time the car began to move in the reverse catching my leg in the door upon my exit car started to move at which time I was dragged under the car. My left leg & knee stopped the car from continuing to move which trapped me partway under the car. With wheel well resting on my lower body. Earlier in the trip I had difficulty moving the gear shift into park as it seemed to get stuck and make it difficult to transition into park. This caused a painful and difficult accident. Has this type of accident been reported before. Have reports of this type of situation occurred or been reported as a problem?.this needs to be fully looked into so that no one else suffers the pain that I have endured.

I started my vehicle after I dropped my 3 month old off at daycare, it was parked and my dashboard was flashing "transmission fault- service now". I pulled out of my space and parked the car to restart, to see if maybe the computer just needed to be restarted. At this point the dashboard computer was going black and then trying to turn on and going blue. The speedometer stopped working, I lost all power steering. I drove it home and parked it.
