CarComplaints.com Notes: For the third year in a row, the 3rd generation Focus is experiencing massive transmission problems.
Most notably owners keep complaining about how there's bad hesitation and jerking when starting from a stop. This isn't the result of an old, worn out part. In fact, the average mileage it's reported to us is just over 15k miles.

MULTIPLE ELECTRONIC MALFUNCTIONS. STARTED IN THE FIRST MONTH I OWNED THE CAR AND GETTING WORSE AND WORSE!!!!!
1. Blue tooth went out last weekend. - cannot get directions on Sync, cannot make calls, cannot run a vehicle health report. Dealership said that "there are known issues with the bluetooth/sync and they are giving customers an extended warranty" Sounds like it should be a recall to me. 2. Doors don't unlock. I have to hit the unlock button multiple times. 3. the "miles to empty" gauge is NEVER accurate! I drive 200 miles, it indicates I drove on 60, I drive IN A PARKING LOT, and it says I drove 8 miles. 4, Gas gauge drops dramatically after it hits the 1/4 tank mark.. 5. Voice command button occasionally doesn't work 6. The song title and artist display went out this weekend, but ONLY on the radio function. Still works fine (for now) on the satelite part of the stereo. 7. The keyless entry panel sets off the alarm when ever I use it. Gotta always have the key. Kinda makes that feature pointless. My 2008 Ford ESCAPE never had this issue. (or any of the other problems)
