The transmission tends to hesitate and jerk when accelerating. The new electronically-driven power steering can fail suddenly and without warning. Even Ford's SYNC can be a headache. Actually, scratch that last one — it's always been a headache.
The front end of my 2013 Focus was smashed up. The passenger side seat belt locked on the waist, but the shoulder did not lock until my daughter's face was almost in the windshield. My lower air bag deployed, but the steering wheel did not. The passenger air bag did not deploy. Both front doors were stuck and had to be pulled open.
Has anyone else experienced their seat belt not locking? How do you tell if this was just normal for this model.
Got in my car last week and the seat belt kept releasing while I was driving! I thought I didn't have it latched, it wasn't me, it was the orange release button that was messed up! Can't use the seatbelt, now the orange release button is messed up and the seatbelt will not latch! I love my Ford and never thought this would happen. Now I have to see if I can find the replacement part that doesn't cost me out the ass and have it installed! The seatbelt should have been the last thing I should have had to worry about!!!
