The contact owns a 2013 Ford Focus. While driving various speeds, the gear independently switched to first gear and the check engine warning indicator illuminated. The vehicle was taken to brenengen Ford (615 S black river St, sparta, wi 54656, (608)-269-3673) where it was diagnosed that the wire harness failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated that the VIN was not included in any recalls. The failure mileage was 107,800.
2013 Ford Focus. Consumer writes in regards to loss of power while driving. The consumer stated a new transmission was installed and failed. The vehicle began to violently shake. The transmission was rebuilt and the clutch repaired.
