CarComplaints.com Notes: Ford changed a lot of things for its 3rd generation, just none of them were a good idea.
The transmission tends to hesitate and jerk when accelerating. The new electronically-driven power steering can fail suddenly and without warning. Even Ford's SYNC can be a headache. Actually, scratch that last one — it's always been a headache.

What can I say... still waiting on class action suit. 7x transmission, lost power steering, no horn, no alarm sound plus a few more. Now dash door lock and unlock stops working, so I have to shut the car off. For example; when I pick kids up from school in the pickup line. This has been a nightmare. I've checked a lot of fuses to do with locking system and they are all good. I've did a factory reset, even disconnected the battery cables. Trying anything and everything to get it back and "ZERO". I've Googled for any info. I'm so done with Ford. All cars have issues but this is so unreal.....
