The contact owns a 2013 Ford Focus. The contact stated that water was found inside the vehicle more than once after it rained. Also, the clutch vibrated when the gears were shifted. The failure occurred every time after shifting out of first gear. There were no warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was taken to star Ford and Lincoln (1101 S brand blvd, glendale, ca 91204, (818) 956-0977) where it was diagnosed that a new clutch and fuel tank were needed and the power train control module (PCM) needed reprogramming. The contact stated that the mechanics only installed a new fuel tank and reprogrammed the PCM. The manufacturer was made aware of the failures and did not assist. The failure mileage was 59,763.
2013 Ford Focus. Consumer writes in regards to rattling noises and leaking fluids. The consumer stated the vehicle was taken to the repair shop, four times for the same problem.
Within a few days of initial purchase I noticed a rattle/crunching/grinding noise from the front passenger side of the vehicle. The noise is prevalent during reverse as a rattle and during left turns as crunch and sometimes grinding noise.

The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The manufacturer stated that there was not an adjustment available for the headrest because it was a safety feature. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 100...updated 04/24/13 the consumer stated the gas pedal is too close to the brake.
