While detailing my car I noticed an area on the top corner of the passenger headlight seemed to have something stuck on it that I could not get off. I also noticed something else odd; as I had polarized sunglasses on at the time, it did not have a rainbow-like to it like the rest of the head light indicating some kind of coating. When I took my glasses off I noticed it appeared lighter than the rest of the lamp (which has a slightly smoked appearance from the factory). Whatever Ford used to coat or tint the light is now coming off. The area is aprox 1.5" long and 1" wide. Not sure of any fix beyond replacing the lamp at a cost of $200-250. Just another disappointing example of the awful fit and finish in this car.
