It started with the door ajar coming on random, now it stays on all the time. Interior lights stays on for a long period of time before going out. Sometimes I wake up in the early part of the morning and my interior light is on. Asked my children, were the lights on when they went to bed? They say no. Now my headlights and taillights are coming on during the day and night time. They flickers on and off.
Since Feb of 2013 the door ajar message has come on and off in my car, when this happens it will also keep the interior lights on. The ignition chimes, safety lights go on and off randomly, regardless of the car being on or off, anyone near it or not. I've had people knock on my door in the middle of the night to tell me the cars lights are on. Now I just explain that the car is haunted.
This is a big problem for me, I have to record my mileage for work and when that message is on you can't see anything else on the odometer. I'll be driving the car everything is fine and the message will randomly appear. Or I'll start the car, be driving, and all of a sudden the message will go away and my car doors will lock. There is NO rhyme or reason to it. Basically I like this car but this problem is a PIA.
