CarComplaints.com Notes: Even though the first model year of a major redesign should typically be avoided, Ford did a good job & the 2008 Ford Focus doesn't appear to have any major defects.
That said, the following model years of this 2nd generation Focus (2009-2011) do appear to be slightly better.

I have a ford focus. I took it in for a problem to the service department & they can never find the problem. 6 times let me say it one one more time, 6 TIMES. they said they were going to give me my money back, well it's been a month & no check. when i call on my money they keep telling me it on its way. people please read this because this is hell what they put me through. i will never buy a ford in Albuquerque NM.
