Ford saved 2cents a piece by putting Chinese valve stems on my car. Even that company (manufacturer Shanghai Baolong / Topseal Automotive) that made them recalled them. Ford sent letters out only to people in the (Literature Program 09L03) States though and no one in Canada. Both Ford Canada and my dealer Ken Knapp Ford told me there is nothing they can do.
i have proof they put defective parts on my car and can do nothing about it. i have the valve with matching numbers to the ones the Chinese company recalled. So over about $100 ford has lost my family's business forever.
I'm looking into a small claims proceeding, i don't care about the $100 just the fact that they can sell you Chinese garbage and then shrug their shoulders about it later. there are links to these valves causing deaths too, most written about is a woman in Florida.
