I have a 2005 Ford Focus. It only has 39500 miles on it. While driving on the highway the transmission would not shift gears. Had to call a tow and brought it to Ford. The warranty ran out and was told it would cost almost 4000 for new or 2200 for a used transmission. I was told this was wear and tear on the car but at 40,000 miles? You've got to be kidding. I will never go with Ford again.
