Coming to a signal on a busy street one day. Speed approx. 35 mph, pressed the brake pedal and pedal faded to floor while car continues to roll forward! After panicking a second let off pedal and press again a couple times, finally brakes engaged and car came to stop! Reported to local Ford dealer, issue was dismissed as they could not reproduce problem!!! Three times it was take to dealership under warranty to resolve issue and each time dismissed by the dealer!!!
Now last night 12/27/2016, I see in the news that there is a probe open to find out about the same exact issues in Mercury and Ford vehicles...currently the Milan, Fusion, etc. for model years 2009 and above!!! WTH!!! I am still having this issue in the 2005 Ford Focus and it needs to be addressed!
The warranty has ended and I am afraid one day an accident will occur...caused by a defect that FORD MOTOR CORP did not resolve promptly and dismissed as a "non issue".
Ford needs to resolve this and open a recall for the braking issue!!!
