Not only ,does Ford recognize,the inevitable failure of the lock cylinder of the ignition,they had the balls to do nothing about it. I had to drill out the lock cylinder and remove the POS,and have been using a screwdriver to start my car ,for the past 3 years, since I don't have the few hundred extra dollars,to fix it properly. Second,Ford knew they installed a bad clutch assembly on the 04' Focus,so instead of going all out,for the customer,what do they do,they introduce a TSB,which will only replace the clutch ass,, if your car has 12k miles or less. It's Ford's way of acknowledging their mistake,but a half ass solution,of course. Now I know,why people don't buy American,anymore,but I'm a diehard American car buff,so I must be nut's,or stupid,right? It's a great feeling,knowing your a proud American car enthusiast,when you have to look around,before you attempt to start your car with a screwdriver.It really feels great,to drive a car you own,but look to others,as if your driving a "stolen" car,everyday.Way to go,Ford. you start your
