The CD player is definitely a piece. It will load the CD but it makes a strange whizzing, whining sound when its trying to play the CD. Other times it will sound normal and say "CD error." Often when you push the eject button, the cd will get stuck and you have to push the cd edge down a little by slightly inserting another cd.
For a while the digital display was not working properly either. Sometimes it would flash the digits. other times the screen would be completely blank.
I dont use the CD player anymore luckily the radio works so i can listen to that or my ipod with it's radio transmitter.
