- Yahoo Answers - Why does my 2002 Ford Focus rumble and vibrate when in reverse first thing in the morning? -- If it vibrates in any gear position other than Park or Neutral, more than likely it's the engine mount over the drivebelt, next to the coolant reservoir. It's common on these cars with age. Get the part form Ford and you'll see how it will go on. Remove 2 or 3 10mm head bolts and position the coolant bottle to the side. LIGHTLY support the engine with a jack, square under the oil pan. Remove 4 (I think) 13mm head bolts and put the new one in.
