So many problems don't know where to start, ok lets talk about the doors. We bought the car new in 2001 and almost immediately started experiencing difficulties. The trunk wouldn't latch and the door light would be on or it would latch but wouldn't come open we complained to the dealer they would "adjust"it. However, the problem would be back in a day or two, and it was getting worse. The doors started to jam, and fly open while moving. Took it to the dealer and they told us to call Ford company complaint line and they said it was a mileage problem, and they explicitly said they would not help. We have called the dealer and the Ford Motor Co. Many times and they are no longer helping, even though the mechanic at the dealer said the doors had internal damage. Please understand this has been an on-going problem and the last time our 9 yr.old would have fallen out of the car had he not been wearing his seatbelt. Oh, yes then there is the seatbelts, brake lines, door knobs, brake rotors, fuel pump, wheel bearings the list goes on we have a lemon please contact us to help.

I wear my seat belt every time I drive my car no matter where I go, lately I have noticed it is very hard to buckle the seat belt, it doesn't slide in easy like when I first bought the car, I have to miss with and it is quite hard to get it to click together.

The dealer changed the front and rear brake 3 times, the rotors. Twice, however the problem continued. Consumer indicated that the vehicle was no longer under warranty. Multiple problems with vehicle.. the hub cap was loose and fell off, the clock spring was replaced, the turn and brake lights were inoperative, the exhaust system made a loud noise, the dealer replaced the pipe and gasket, the seat belt buckle was replaced, because the seat belt light failed to go out.

A/C tends to have smoke and very bad smell coming from vents, brakes constantly squeal and grind, vehicle doesn't always want to start, no pickup or stalling when stopped at lights, etc. Engine makes loud grinding noices, engine also makes loud reving noises like it can't get into gear. Front passanger seatbelt tightens and locks for no reason. Ford manufactor notified via certified letter twice, no contact to date. Waldorf Ford refuses to fix saying, "if we can't find the problem, we can't fix it." Both refuse to fix anymore. In last year in shop 10 times, for over 45 days, and no resolution.
