The contact owns a 2001 Ford Focus. The contact stated that the alternator failed due to corrosion and it was cracked in several places.. the contact replaced the alternator himself. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure and current mileage was 143,000....updated 12-24-13
Have there been any reported problems with rack/pinion, transmission and alternators on this vehicle since mileage has been so low yet so many problems with the car.
