Please check under the hood at the accelerator cable and the way it fastens to the carburator. While reoving your foot off pedal too fast, it will cause accelerator cable to come off, accelerating your car at high speed and making it impossible for you to stop. This happened to us yesterday and many people could have been killed. After inspecting the part myself, I was shocked to see that (a) it was plastic and (B) there is nothing holding that cable doen other than a C-hook. This is very dangerous!!!!!!!!! please have this part inspected immediately, have it recalled and get this car safe. I will no longer put me or my family in that car until the accelerator cable "death trap" is fixed. Thank you for your time and help!
