While driving driver's door opened and closed on its own. Vehicle was taken to the dealership on June 30, 2004, dealer repaired and replaced hinges and electrical motor at consumer's expense of $700, but problem recurred.
I have had problems with my Ford Focus ever since I purchased it in November 1999. Now the interior is falling apart the rubber on the right passenger side is coming off, I opened the door on the drivers side and the panel fell off. The car has less than 40,000 miles this car has caused me nothing but trouble since I purchased it. I am a previous owner of Ford product and was very satisfied with it. However, I feel the Focus was not checked thoroughly before placing it on the market. This is not the first time I have contacted you all about this car.
Several structure repairs have been made, rear trunk was aligned due to consumer having difficulty closing, left rear handle at headliner was loose and broken, and the exterior driver door moulding fell off.
