I've had possession of my new Ford Flex for 2 months, discovered water filling up inside the car on the front & rear floor.I brought the car back to the dealer to find out the problem and I expected them to fix and clean this problem without any problem since the car is brand new and I've had ownership for only 2 months.I was told the 2ea drain plugs located under the hood of the car directly below the front windshield were clogged with leaves ,therefore the water was backing up into the air vents located near these drains and that I was at fault for not clearing these drains.Ford refuses to pay for this and says I am responsible to pay the damage or have my insurance company pay.The Dealer estimates the cost at $2000.to remove & dry all carpets .I've complained to the dealer that there is no way in 2 months of owning this car could I have clogged up the drains and that leaves were not falling in Aug. & Sept. on Long Island NY . I feel these drains somehow were clogged before I took possession of this car and I am being jerked around by Ford.I have to get the car cleaned so I'm stuck with this problem. I'm a small business owner from Long island and I will never lease another Ford and will make sure all my business associates are alerted to Fords lack of response and common decency.
All Ford Flex owners beware!
