This is another case of Ford PTU failure common to Flex, Edge and other Ford all wheel drive vehicles. The transmission repair facility was very aware of this common issue. This obviously should be a recall. It's very frustrating when a car manufacturer gets away with not issuing a recall on a part that obviously was designed incorrectly and fails prematurely. The consumer gets screwed again.
