I bought the Flex in April 2022 and by September 2022 I was driving home the car is shut off on me doing 70 miles an hour on the freeway with no warning lights pulled over sat for a few minutes try starting it again got it home to find out the water pump had a leak that leaked into the engine causing the engine to seize took it to superior auto in Shepherdsville for them to tell me it was water pump failure, the warranty wasn’t gonna cover it.
When we requested for them to break it down they told me it was too much money for them to break down that they would lose from their business. Didn’t have the car more than six months to have it completely break down and possibly have to pay up to $5000 to have the engine repaired or a used engine put in unfortunately. I can’t afford the repairs I’m just a blue-collar worker trying to get back-and-forth from work in some thing that I thought was dependable turns out it wasn’t. If this was a problem that Ford knew about why didn’t they recalled the water pump in engine you’re setting up fires for failure not everyone has money laying around for engine repairs to that extent
