I have a 2009 Ford Flex and still have one year to pay it off. My intermediate shaft steering column seized on me. Brought it into the mechanic, it's going to cost me over $799 to repair this part. I understand that vehicles have wear and tear but I've never experienced a vehicle where the steering wheel completely seizes while your driving.
Update from May 15, 2015: April 8 2015 my steering wheel on my 2009 Ford Flex. The steering wheel was extremely tight for me to turn bend or turning corners while I was driving. I was doing 50 kilometers when the steering wheel became extremely tight when I went around a bend. I brought the vehicle into a mechanic. He explained to me that the intermediate shaft steering column is seized, this is why it's very hard for me to turn my steering wheel. There was no warning in this vehicle when my steering wheel became tight the problem immediately happened .
