We're the original owners of this car. This problem started to occur in mid-July 2016 and has occurred intermittently since then. The first time I noticed it was after I used cruise control during a 4-hour drive. It was night and suddenly the panel with speedometer, etc. went dark. The air conditioning stopped working, no signal indicator would work when turning on the turn signal, automatic door locks don't work, though you can lock the doors with the locking switch, no illumination of anything but the radio. The lighting of the panel goes on and off at random now. It affects the air conditioning and defroster, if not illuminated the air conditioner blows warm air and the defroster doesn't work, gas gauge doesn't register correctly, automatic door locks don't lock automatically, and while the speedometer works, if it's nighttime, it's not readable. Don't really want to use a flashlight to see how fast I'm going. The exterior lights work, headlights, taillights, signals all seem to work when this happens, I've had people check while I'm in the car. Can't imagine what it will cost to repair this problem, but the car is 9 years old and I don't want to spend a lot on a repair. Don't think this brand will be in the mix the next time I'm in the market for a vehicle!
