Well my car accelerator starting to purge on its own and it scared me I thought that I was going to be killed in that thing. I was never informed that there was a Customer Satisfaction Program out there for my car to fi this problem by cleaning the throttle body since it would get guncked up and cause this to happen. Then my car accelerator would not work so the gunk broke my throttle body of which I believe that all this is caused from a recall on the fuel filter of which I never received anything on that either. Spoke to Ford Customer Service and they said that my VIN# was not on the list, WHAT. My car did exactly what the NHTSA investigated # PE11018. Unbelievable that they would not honor when they offered to other people which was extending the warrantee to 150,000 miles or 10 years which ever comes first, They said that it was only to clean my throttle body but if they would have notified me I would have done it and therefore it would not have broken. I read where another person had to replace his throttle body 2 times and I believe it is all from the original recall of that defective fuel filter. I am taking this up with an attorney as maybe a class action suite since I have heard of this happening a lot on this vehicle. They are lucky that I was not killed when that thing purged, realllll lucky or they would be facing a large lawsuit instead of repairing my car at the ford dealership. At least they should pay for the part but really the whole thing, They need to update their system so let the public know of these things. I consider this to have been a safety issue. I am a disabled older woman who lives off a fixed income and this is just unacceptable. Unacceptable. I know other people that have had dodges that they repaired things that were found wrong under the Good Will Program. I just do not understand our world anymore. I will never buy a ford again or even refer one to someone. I fell that they should contact me since I have contacted Ford directly. What is coming to this world. Bad business for sure. I AM A MAD MOTHER AGAINST FORD (MMAF)
