Driving this car and to have it just shut off in the middle of driving & having to pray that you can get home is probably the worst!!!!!!! I'm driving the car now and every light on the dash is on. I don't know how fast I'm going because the speedometer is not working....
I took this car into the shop the first time this happened....was told it was the throttle body $800...second time all the lights came on it was the instrument cluster.$1200...third time its the instrument cluster $1200, forth time it needed wires $400 (but was told: oh if it happens again we'll fix it, which tells me they had no damn clue what was wrong because guess what a couple months later, yup it happened again) fifth time its the throttle body again $1030 (this was 2 weeks ago) and guess what happened on my way home from work.....Yup you guessed it....every light is on, can't see how fast im driving, it sputters as if its gonna shut down again.
How many times can one person fix the same problem on a car and they tell me its 12months/12,000 miles....well I drive an hour to and from work on the expressway so guess whats gonna come first, you guessed it the miles...I'm exhausted with this car but I can afford a new one so fixing this junk doesn't even seem worth the drama anymore but it angers me that Ford will not step up and say this is an issue and just recall the crap that is making every bodys lives miserable and pockets empty...something should be done about this.
