I was taking my grandson to the bus station and a lady pulled in front of me and I put on my breaks to stop.
After that I tried to put the car in reverse and it would not move. then I put it in park and neutral then again in drive but it would not move. I had to have it towed to my house. The estimates that I have had are from $3,600 to $7,600. I just bought the car 3 and a half years ago from a dealership that told me I had a 5 year warranty for mechanical. I found out they lied to me and only gave me a 2 year warranty. I have had problems with the transmission slipping at times.
I can't afford $7,600 for a new transmission. I need my car to use every day.
