My Ford Fiesta has less then 9500 miles an already having problems on the manual transmission, I almost have a collision due to the slip on the manual transmission on firs gear. I took the vehicle at the FORD DEALER at LAREDO since May 3, 2019. The Dealer start doing the diagnostics until May 8, 2019. After the diagnostics, I was told that they need to do an overhaul on the manual transmission. Until today (5/20/2019) they can't find all the parts that they need to do the overhaul. How is that possible coming from a FORD Dealer. I was told from the Service Advisor that they need to look for the main transmission gear shift out of state, that the FORD doesn't have the part in Texas. I checked on the website for that part and is available. How is that possible that the FORD DOESN'T HAVE THE PART as a Dealer they should have all the parts required to do any repairs. I was told that it will take another two weeks to get the part from out of state. Also I was told "if the FORD DEALER doesn't have the part out of state they will required to built one that will take another two weeks to built the part". It looks to me that they are making excuses not to do the repairs. I'm getting real upset that the FORD knowing that the FORD FIESTA having problems on the transmission doesn't have all the parts required to fix the transmission problems.
