I took my car into the dealer once again, this time because the air bag light was on. I wanted to make sure that it wouldn't just decide to deploy on its own or if I was in an accident that it wouldn't fail to deploy. So I made an appointment to get it look at. They said their was a wiring problem under the drivers seat that they had to repair. While the car was there I asked them to look at the transmission once again because it was acting up again. They advised me that the clutch plate in the transmission needed to be replaced. Unfortunately the Leonardtown Ford dealer is behind in this area and told me it would be the middle of August before they could get to it. They did something to the car so that I could drive it until they could get it in for the needed repairs. It pretty bad when you buy a new car with only 10 miles on it and I have to use both hands to count how many times it has been in the shop for mechanical repairs. What is Ford not doing correctly either in the initial building and then the supposed repairs of a car that I have to keep taking it back. It causes a big problem for me because it is my only means of transportation and they won't give me a loaner car because I am under 21 years of age. Pretty bad when they will gladly sell you a car but when you have issues with the car they sold you, they won't give you something to drive until they can get it fixed. My whole family is or should I say was Ford all the way. After this experience we are all definitely rethinking our position on Ford cars and their workmanship.
