Defective transmission;the car hesitates and sputters when you accelerate, as if it is going to shut down completely. Last year, I received notice of lawsuit filed in California as to the defective transmission and was told that I could settle with a dispute resolution specialist which denied me the repurchase/replacement because I have a 5 year warranty. The transmission is defective and cannot be fixed, it does not matter if the warranty is 5 years or more. The trade-in value of this car is so low, I cannot afford to purchase another vehicle. I just want all to know that Ford does not stand behind their defective vehicles.

I got vehicle at a well known car dealership - used. It was given '120 point inspection' so the car was in 'good to go' condition. I walked out with luckily some max protection insurance from them, where they would cover any non- ware & tear repairs. Great decision at first, maybe not even a year in at roughly 80K miles the car ac does not get cool, when at a stop or slow speed the car would start to overheat & in stall - this is a manual vehicle so you would have to drop gear in order to gain speed back and cool the engine. The cooling fan wasn't turning over St any point, I replaced the fuse maybe 3-4 times and it kept blowing out. Finally I took it in to get checked out, apparently the fan relay fuse was blown out causing the smaller fuse to blow, all this resulting in damage to the ac compressor having to be replaced, 2,700 in repairs with a deductible of 200 bucks. Can't beat that right? wrong, here I am roughly 9-10 months later with the same issues happening again, car overheating when the ac is on, or at a hault with the fan not kicking over. Ford: You are a multi billion dollar company, you need to make a car / system that can withtand Arizona's 110+ degree weather during the summer. This seems to clearly be a electrical issue, as this isn't the first, second or even third issue I've had with the vehicle. Including maker recalls.

A heater vent is stuck and the timing belt is slipping over it as the car starts up. Sounds like an automatic gun going off. Happens every time I start the car. Occasionally happens when the car is moving and the sun comes out. Have tried turning to ac off and the fans off nothing helps.

Latch on rear driver side door will not catch and door does not close as a result. No damage was done to the door. A friend got out of the back seat and tried closing the door. The door just swung back open.

While driving on the freeway during the summer in houston my A/C compressor failed and produced a disturbing odor within the car. It inherently has caused driving during the summer to become very taxing due to the heat even with the windows down and on several occasions I have become dizzy due to the heat. A few days later I had 2 blend motors also fail with the A/C system that now cause intermittent and loud clicking noises that can be distracting while driving.

Takata recall I had an issue with my door latches. While I had my vehicle in motion, a notification came up that my door suddenly open. I was able to get out and attempt to close my rear door, unfortunately, it would not stay shut forcing me to drive with it opened. I was was not injured but this is a safety concern. I am single and do not have children therefore hardly anyone is in the backseat of my vehicle.

My 2014 Ford Fiesta, which I bought used, was stationary, I opened the rear driver side door and when I went to close it the door would not close properly due to the latch. Dealership will not cover it because my vehicle was made in a place they claim was not affected by the problem they were recalling other cars for.

Since buying the vehicle brand new off lot in 2014, I had minor issues with acceleration. Now my warranty is long expired and the issues are worse. I've taken it into garages multiple times with most saying it's normal, the car has to get used to your driving, and also some saying they couldn't replicate problem. It acts up everyone it's driven now even after one of the service bullitens for the tcm. Constantly shutters jerks grinds and bumps has trouble accelerating going up hills and from a stop it's worse in stop-and-go traffic

I am the original owner of my 2014 Ford Fiesta S hatchback. The vehicle has a 5-speed manual transmission and 33350 miles +/- on it. I have two issues with the car: 1) the second and reverse gears (only) have "popped" out numerous times under torque. This occurs only when decelerating, accelerating, and occasionally while reversing slowly out of the garage etc. The latest event was December 29, 2016 travelling down a short road. The second gear popped out and the vehicle immediately began to accelerate toward the embankment. Each event surprises and frightens me until I realize what has occurred and respond accordingly. 2) the second issue is something is producing a clunking in the lr pillar (between the lr passenger door and the hatchback). Or so I imagine. It sounds like a hatch strut is hanging loose from the top connection and swinging around inside the hollow of the pillar. However, both hatch struts are fully accounted for and appear to be attached as designed. The noise is ongoing and coincides with vehicle motion, especially on curves and rough ground.

My car surges forward almost squealing tires, it makes noise it clunks out at stop feels like my tranny is going to drop and doesn't shift correctly. Transmission is obviously in safe I am afraid I am going to hit someone from behind the way it surges at times it also sputters and moves down hill when stopped drags when driving up hill. I had to take it in they replaced modular and tranny seal. But it still happens.

Vehicle has 4 doors. I was parked at my daughters school in the city street. Its the right back door, my daughter opened it, when she tried to close it it wouldn't close, so I tried to close it but it wouldn't, so I checked the mechanism on the door and it was loose. I had to tie the door to the seat. No matter what I did I couldent close it.

The doors will not lock, keep coming open. Big safety violation. Other 2014 Ford have been recalled. This one should be included. Should be fixed for free. Only have had vehicle about a year and a half. Have had other model cars for 10 years or more. Never had these problems with them. Will not lock when stationary and doors open when turning.

The rear passanger door flung open while we were getting off the freeway. This is usually where my son sits but hr happened to sit on the other side that day. My wife held the door closed while we got it home. It was the weekend so we wrapped the seat belt around the handle and latched (buckled) it to get it to the dealer Monday morning. It was terrifying. Turns out there is a recall for this exact problem. My car was manufactured 2 1/2 months after the end of the recall dates but is clearly having the same problem. Called Ford and they stated to contact you, there is nothing they can do. They gave #cas-10138364 as a case number and #15S16 as a recall number to give to you.
