The contact owns a 2014 Ford Fiesta. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 17V209000 (engine and engine cooling). The vehicle was taken to the dealer (covert Ford of hutto, 1200 us-79, hutto, tx 78634), but no failure was found. The contact was advised to monitor the coolant level. While driving 75 mph, the temperature gauge displayed "overheating". the contact pulled the vehicle over and the engine stalled. The vehicle was unable to restart. The vehicle was towed back to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the radiator was cracked. The manufacturer had not been contacted. The failure mileage was 80,500.
