I've had the transmission serviced twice under the warranty. On monday night, It wouldn't start.I called a family member who lives the area that I was in to see if they could jump it. Texas heat is not good for batteries.... After we got it up and running we discovered that it did not want to shift gears. We decided to put the car in neutral and push it out of the spot. This way if we had to get a tow it would be slightly easier. Put the car in drive..... It would get up to 10 mph but sounded like I had the gas pedal on the floor. At that point we called my dad to the rescue. He felt that we should drive it to the next door parking lot because it had a steep incline. Let gravity do its thing, so to speak. After letting it sit a few minutes and giving it another go. the fiesta decided to shift gears and allow us to drive it home at normal speeds and act like it should. I can honestly say that this scared the daylights out of me. I have not driven that car since. Actually, I'm trading it in today. I've NEVER had this kind of issue with any of my fords. But when I feel like I can't be safe in a vehicle that I purchased....... There's a problem.
