A rapid and successive tapping/clicking noise in the engine compartment or probably in the engine itself, will occur right after turning off the ignition switch. It was brought to the attention of the dealer's service center twice when the mileage was more or less 200 miles after the purchased from Lithia Ford Fresno in Fresno, CA. The service department told that this is normal, but for me, it does not? No new vehicle should operate like that...for just and simple analysis, at the time of purchase until a couple of weeks it does not show any noise upon turning the engine off. So, it is not normal because @ first it is good, then a noise came out until now with 2400 miles. Last April 8 this year, again my wife went to the dealer to complain another problem w/c is a brake squeals when applying brake or slowing down by pressing the brake pedal, this problem appears every time you pressed the brake pedal, during this time, she reminded the advisor about the 1st issue in the engine noise but this two issues were not resolved. My wife was only told that all of these are normal....These issues causes me restless because once a thing making noise then it is not normal. This vehicle is still under the Manufacture's Warranty.
