Went and had code looked up before taking to dealership (still under extended warranty) and they tell me that the Air Flow and running lean. So take to dealership and they tell me that the intake tube to throttle body was off (from the place I had oil changed). Been going to same place for oil changes for over 10 years and never had an issue. Thinking car still under warranty they say it needs brakes and they'll cost $170. So I tell them to put brakes on it. I pick up and my bill is $485.33, because they charged me to put tube back in place.

Fiesta SE 1.6L

I purchased this 2013 Ford Fiesta brand new. I have had nothing but one problem after another with the transmission. Now, the wrench light goes on and off, and the engine/motor light goes on and off. This light has nothing to do with changing the oil, as it comes on even after I change the oil. I do not feel safe in this car due to the faulty transmission that Ford Motor Company put in this car, and now there is also problems with the engine? They have lost a loyal customer.

At three thousand miles I had a leak in engine. They then kept it for transmission problems. I had to bring it back in. I had to beg for a car rental. They finally gave it to me. Then I received a extend warranty for transmission. I received the recall letter for the emissions next. Then low and behold the engine light came on. I took it there today and they have to order a catalytic converter. Can you believe a catalytic converter for a car that doesn't have 15 thousand miles. This is crazy. They tell me to come back when the part is in. I guess I just ride it like that. They tell me they have no rentals available. They should be kissing my butt. I paid cash for this bomb. My Nissan Sentra 2001 was better than this crap. It had over 200 thousand miles.

Fiesta EX 4

  • Automatic transmission
  • 2,500 miles

I brought this car in June 2013, not even a year and this car is so much problem. Engine light keeps coming on once in a while, then one day the car stopped on me in the street. Gas is burning faster. When I drive up a little hill the car feels like it has water in it because it has shakes in it. The air bag keeps saying it is off. I hate how we can't put transmission fluid in the car. The car gets slower and slower. I thought having a new car suppose to be problem free, not more headache. Something has to happen with these cars, I am paying to much for problems, 18000 dollars. I'd rather go back to the old cars, they work better.

Fiesta LX 4.0L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 3,200 miles

2013 FORD FIESTA.....OK, so first I had to fight with Ford for six months regarding a grinding/scraping noise from left front.....after 6 months of continually fighting with the dealership, they finally replaced the transmission (had less than 2500 miles on the damn car) and sure enough....the transmission was faulty and the gears were ground down. This after Ford insisted it was just an "inconvenience noise" according the TSB (Technical Service Bulletin). Called Ford factory and raised hell and after numerous phone calls to them, going to the dealership and causing a scene.....finally they replaced the transmission.

Now, I have 3200 miles on this car and guess what? It's back in the shop again. Now, engine light is on....owner manual says to take it in right away, so I did. Now waiting to hear Ford's latest excuse. I am checking into the Lemon Law, but good luck, right? PEOPLE, LISTEN.....DO NOT EVER EVER EVER BUY A FORD FIESTA......EVER ! WHAT A PIECE OF S - - - !!!!!!!!
