This is a very annoying problem, after taking it to the dealership first they reset a warning light and sent me home with the car. The next morning I was back and then was told they need to take out and clean the clutch.

At this time 3/6/2016 I am told there is a back order of 11 weeks in Connecticut and this is totally inexcusable as this issue has been reported years prior. How the issue still persists in a 2013 model is beyond me. When asked about a loaner for use during the day as I had no access to my car I was told I had to get a rental. So on top of dealing with a issue that was not reported to my by Ford (being this was a known issue) now I have to pay out of pocket for a rental from Ford?

I was planning on buying future vehicles from Ford but with this type of customer service I am really having second thoughts and I am now looking at other makes for better service. This has totally ruined my confidence in Ford.

There is a loud ratcheting/grinding/rattling sound primarily noticeable when I start out from a stop and or am in a low gear & usually is louder when going up hills & turning at low speeds. Kind of a knocking around sound I'd also say. Have been told by Ford this is normal but was given TSB 15-0043 by a local mechanic that addresses DPS6 excessive transmission clutch shudder & it being associated with a reprogramming of the PCM & TCM. This looks/sounds exactly like what this is & the Ford garage said they will do the field service actions/recalls on my car since none have been done yet.

The car has just under 20000 miles & I'm having a hard time believing that at just 20000 this is normal for any vehicle & if it is, how come i didn't notice it until recently? I've had the car since June 8th, 2015. it sounds like a major issue & everyone I have ride with me agrees it is not normal...except the Ford service technicians. Furthermore, I've had the car in twice & nothing has been done & the service mgr. was very rude. It's been over a month & this hasn't been touched in 2 visits. Dealer said it needs a new clutch before the recalls can be done.

Am now looking at having another dealer do the recalls...which may take until Thanksgiving to be completed I'm told. Where are the parts coming from, Antarctica?

Brought my 2013 Fiesta back to the dealership I bought it from about month later and told them about the chugging, skipping, etc. They immediately started their "rehearsed speech" about how that is the way the transmission is and handed me a paper all about it. I bring it to a second dealer same "rehearsed speech" and the annoying paper again.

After 2 1/2 years I now find a Ford dealership that tells me the clutch needs to be replaced.

This car is a piece of junk and Ford should be ashamed of themselves??

I have owned many Fords and this is by far the worse vehicle!

Ford needs to admit they made a huge mistake and compensate all the individuals they took advantage of!!
