SO the dealership lists this as a HEATER CONCERN WARRANTY! This is what happens....the foam deflectors are located in a DIP along the windshield so everything sits in there and is hard to get completely cleaned out(bad design) the service techs are not surprised when you bring your car in and it is totally frozen there is no air blowing into your car because your heater blower fan is frozen because the deflectors do not deflect the water and snow and leak into your fan and when the temperature drops (-25 degrees celcuis) you have NO HEAT! ..This happened on the first really cold day this year but it has happened many times during the winters I have had the car.....it is totally annoying! Driving your car to the dealership windows open so it doesn't fog up and freezing temperatures! I bring my car in I generally have no worries because I bought the PremiumCARE plan (extended warranty) But this time they phone me and tell me that Ford Canadahas refused to cover the cost of the failed deflectors therefore causing my heater fan to freeze up and therefore causing my heater blower fan motor to be replaced .......should be covered under my warranty afterall it is kinda of important part of the car....and in Alberta you need HEAT in the winter! Right now my case is pending with Ford Canada....my dealership cut the costs down as much as they could,... still I should not have to pay for an essential part of the car that is supposed to be covered as far as this warranty reads.
