This has happened frequently since last August. I only just found this site today. It is illegal to drive without lights when it rains & this most frequently happens when it is either cold, rainy, or rain is in the forecast. It also happens a lot at night - again when it it's illegal & dangerous to drive without headlights. I can't drive on the highway or in the city with my hi-beams on either. Ford recalled cars in Canada for this exact problem, but not in the US. I am so tired of all the electrical issues i have heard with this car. On top of the dang transmission craziness I had to deal with the first couple years, this car had most definitely been a pain in the rear!
