Fiesta SE 3.2L

The car broke down on the freeway 44 miles from home. The thermostat light turned out and then the little wrench popped up and said engine malfunction then white smoke starts billowing from under the hood and orange fluid coming from under the car. I had to get it towed. Ford tells me that it can take 1-2 days to diagnose and then there's still the repair. Thankfully my extended warranty covers the engine. The radiator was replaced along with the water pump and some fan....this is like the 4th or 5th time I've had to take this car in on serious stuff. I would be totally screwed if I did not get the extended warranty as I am a single mom and all of the issues cost an arm and a leg to repair.

I am upset of the incident. Employees are providing good interpersonal relationship with their customer, what makes it bad is their product or their quality assurance department (I am sure they have one). They should make sure that the unit they are releasing would be working or is not defective 100%. I bought the car last March 2012, released from Ford Balintawak Branch as mentioned earlier, sad to say that the unit is less than 4 months with me but I am having problems like this. On my dash board, before when the unit is still less than a month, it will show a message of "Transmission is hot!'. I had my routine service checked with the said branch. I informed one of the customer care rep regarding the transmission message. It was only 2 days ago that its dash board is now showing message of:'Transmission Malfunction service now!' what the..?? So I immediately booked an appointment with the Ford Balintawak Service Branch Yesterday to further diagnose and address my concerns with regards with the unit. I brought the unit past 8am and their were able to give a feedback on the unit past 4pm same day. As per technician's result on its diagnosis with the engine, he stated that the engine itself is defective particularly the wiring of the turbines. What upsets me is that they can not exactly tell me how long are they going to confine my unit inside their service center since as per service representative they are waiting for the report to be done first coming from the warranty office/department then they can give me a feedback on how long they will have to fix the problem. This is not reasonable for me, this is hassle on my part. I don't have the luxury of time to wait and left hanging with the dates. On top of it, how are they (Ford Balintawak Branch) going to assure me that once it is fix, problem like this won't arise. My car doesn't have a lifetime warranty. My point is, this will cause burden on my part. I bought a brand new car but never expects to work like a secondhand car. It is really disappointing for customers like me. I am demanding for the said branch to replace it with new one since it is just a less than 4-month old car. I am hoping that this will be addressed properly with the concern people from Ford.
