I purchased the car in February of 2015 and 2 months later the car is shuddering and stalling especially on inclines. I take it in and they change the clutch...in an automatic transmission. Fast forward 3 months and the car starts shuddering and stalling again. I take it in again and they said it was within normal limits but just barely. Fast forward a few weeks and it shuddering and stalling worse than a few weeks earlier and take it back in again. They put a 2015 clutch in and said that it will fix the problem...still does it although a little less often

I has purchased a 2012 Ford Fiesta on 4/22/16 and it was perfect. The next day 4/23/16 I noticed that it would take awhile to accelerate at a stop and go. Not only that but you can hear a noise from the front and can feel it shaking. I registered this on Sync (Ford owner feature) and two transmission issues popped up one specifically mentioning the clutch shudder is faulty. I made an appointment with Ford and they got it tested. My car came out as having an issue yet they refuse to cover it under the extended warranty because it is not "bad enough."

According to Ford, in order to replace this faulty clutch issue it has to be 250 or over. So I am stuck with a shaky car and a slow take off without any clutch repair. This is a safety hazard that has poor manufacturing. This jittering, shaking, slow acceleration should not be paid for by the consumers. There are so many people who purchase Fords, upon further research many people with a Ford focus or fiesta have this issue. People have almost gotten in accidents so this is not just a matter of my safety but the safety of others on the road. Ford should call for a recall or discontinue making faulty transmissions.

I bought my Ford 2012 Fiesta and 6 months later have nothing but problems with the clutch. Took it back to the dealership. All they did was reprogram the computer in the trans and told me to drive the car 5 hundred to 1000 miles before it kicks in.The problem never went away. Took it back months later, car doing the same thing. The car shuttering when I accelerate. Took it back, they say it needs a new clutch, so they replace the clutch. Weeks later the car doing the same thing, so I take it back. They update the computer in the trans. To this date I been driving with the same problem. Now the year is 2015. The car been in and out of the dealership three times. I take it back now it needs another clutch. I know it's not the dealerships fault for the problem, it's FORD MOTOR COMPANY.
