Just after dropping off a client, my car went into limp mode and the wrench light came on. I made it to the dealership on side streets and the advisor told me they had to diagnose the problem, and quoted 139.00 to that. He later called to tell me that the throttle body needs to be replaced, as well as wire repair and pin relocation. To do all this it would cost $1359.53, and my warranty does not cover it, so no rental either. What could I do besides have it repaired, and add this to the list of problems I've had with this car. He mentioned he has seen this before, and he would open a case with Ford so I can get reimbursed some of what this cost. Ford denied the reimbursement and closed this case, and if I wrote in this complaint what I was told the reason was, I'd sound like a crazy person. I know there is still something wrong with this car, even after all I've had to have replaced or repaired. What a nightmare, my first Ford will be my last, and I'm telling everyone I can about all the issues and to STAY AWAY from Ford!
