When driving on icy roads/barely snow dusted roads on a hill, the tires would slip and the traction control would shut down power to one wheel then the other would slip and before long you have the gas pedal to the floor and you are ROLLING backwards. There is no way to turn off the traction control on early 2011 models and the dealership told us it was a tire issue. The tires were fine. The after 2011 models have a menu option to turn off traction control fixing the problem.
This is extremely dangerous and will eventually end up killing someone.
