My vehicle has the same defect/malfunction as FORD models, Fusion, Mercury Milan and Lincoln MKZ 2019 recalls by Ford and ongoing investigation by NHTSA for safety issues, involving different years than mine-2006/7-2010 manufacturer dates. Involving problems with Hydraulic Control Unit. I wanted to somehow, connect my experience, with pocket costs paid by me, including the out of with the above mentioned governmental actions, to inform all other 2011 Fiesta users that if they are having similar and dangerous conditions- to place a formal complaint with the NHTSA online, on the Center for Auto Safety site, etc. So that Ford will correct this malfunction for FREE, and so that, to avoid a class-action lawsuit, FORD will on its own reimburse those of us, who had to and did pay the over $1500.00 repair cost.
At the Dealer Service Department, with no paid Extended Warranty Coverage. Even if it were covered, part and labor, Ford should reimburse deductible to us, along with any other costs I can not raise right now. Maybe some casualty, an inconvenience stipend for the risk, this 'soft brake' condition put us all in, etc. Also in alignment with the current NHTSA investigation into the Ford Explorer, (F-150s), years 2011-2015 complaints of exhaust fumes entering the passenger cabins, causing all manner of health dangers, etc., which is now occurring in my 2011 Ford Fiesta. All of a sudden, I feel my vehicle should be linked with this Investigation. My vehicle had to be repaired also, because of the Transmission, shudder malfunction that involved a Class Action Lawsuit which was just settled by the Courts. Though I am blessed to have this vehicle, for 3 years now, through financing, etc., I am distressed with the major problems described in the CarComplaints online site.
