Do NOT under any circumstance EVER buy a Ford Fiesta that is bright green or lime green or whatever neon green color they call it. If there is ever any body damage, Ford Care and the dealerships tell you they can not match the color. Karl Flammer Ford in Tarpon Springs Florida couldn't even get close. They gave the car back to me in two different color greens and said that's all they can do. So I end up with a two tone green Fiesta. Their color isn't even close. I even asked 3 total strangers in a WalMart parking lot if they noticed any difference in the paint on the car. All 3, within a few seconds immediately said that the roof was a brighter color (correct color) than the rest of the car. Not really even close. You don't have to look twice or squint or think about it, it's not even close. Whatever color they are using in the body shops is significantly lighter in color and not nearly as bright in color. And Ford Care reps simply say well that's a hard color to match. Maybe Ford should put warning labels on the windshield telling you if you ever get any body work done your car will never match or be the same color again because we can't match paint on cars we sell. That's bull. Something is seriously wrong. I have owned other brands that required body work and they managed to match the paints just fine. I understand paints fade, but the color they are using is already "pre-faded". It's lighter and duller than the factory paint. Ford Customer Care says well the paint Ford uses in the factory isn't the same as the paint the body shops use. Why the hell not? So what's next? They send parts that don't fit and tell you, well the parts the factory uses aren't the same parts we use to fix the car. Just put some duct tape over this and it will be fine. Never, never, ever again will I or any other family member buy another Ford. The immediate family presently owns 34 cars and that's 34 cars that will say anything but Ford on the front of them.
