etb never recalled in australia SRS failure on etb code
Hello... Please let it be known that on my Ford built car here in Australia that no recall has been done on the same ETB as listed on your sites... Now it isnt so difficult to rectify but if yours fails at 60MPH like mine did on the highway its very dangerous and could be lethal...WHEN my electronic throttle body code stays on, the safety systems on my car are taken OFF line... that is Traction Control, ABS, SRS, ESC,CSC,EBD and there is only 3 seconds before the engine shutsdown... To fix immediately, Put shift into N and turn engine OFF then ON and it restarts and back into D... Now the bad is all the safety systems are OFF and that includes YOUR SRS airbags... I have an X Ford mechanic who I pointed it out too and he said he knew about it_its the safety system on the car!!!!!! What safety??? it does not code lights on the dash to let you know you have NO SAFETY... no impact sensors working anywhere either... Now the BAD NEWS_ this safety feature may be on ALL FORD vehicles on roads GLOBAL... and ALL Vehicles GLOBAL and JET AIRCRAFT... Our testing here at AANCAP does not cover safety systems failures and my vehicle was never crash tested as stated on their site as I have email confirmation of such...Australian ACCC has not actioned anything... Immediately contact your car electronics experts and determine if this issue is across all cars on the road... BE SAFE ...Thankyou...
