This data is from the NHTSA — the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints are spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem.
So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.

Inside of tire is separating. Large bubble, 4" X 6" in size. No other leaks or punctures or patches/plugs in tire. Causes extreme vibrations. Had to remove and replace all four tires for safety reasons. 265 70R 17 Wrangler at/S
1999 Ford F250 with Firestone steeltex tires. Tread came off left rear tire. An inspection showed tread was separating on rt front tire. Sent tire to Firestone and got a form letter about abuse of tires (under inflated, over inflated). Same letter Firestone used when failures of Ranger tires were occurring. I have the oil changed every 6000 miles and have tire pressure checked. I also check pressure myself. I also rotated tires as suggested by Ford. Tires had good tread and wear patterns. These tires are defective.
